Knowing you're coming, will help us with planning.  We look forward to seeing you! 

• We will learn to sing the dear old hymns a cappella by using shape notes (Do, Re, Mi…).
• Young men will receive training in leading congregational worship.
• Singing Instruction for all ages, young & old learn together from pre-school to adult.
• Families encouraged to attend together
• Children under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult.
• Family Worship time will be blessed as each family member learns how to sing in harmony with each other

The singing school will focus on:

• pitch
• rhythm
• sight reading hymns
• tone production
• interpretation

and will end with a final practice & worship session which is a time of pulling together the elements learned during the school.

Instructor: Elder Tim Cannon of Huntsville, Alabama, has taught numerous singing schools around the country.  He is also an accomplished musician and composer. His desire to worship God in music is very contagious.
